Goodbye, Girlie............

You came home with us on Valentine's Day, 1995, just a wee little thing we could hold in one hand,

barely able to stand while you ate your first meal with us,

and at first you were afraid,.................................................... but soon you knew you were home.











You were our constant companion wherever we went.




Always up for one more hike,










or swim,








or romp in the yard.









You've been all that we could have wished for in a friend








and more.
